AUDIO COLLECTION ON CD: (Classics, Non-Fiction, Current Novels, Plays, Poetry, History, Biographies) Includes Shakespeare and other classics. Regular CD player required.
AUDIOVISUAL EQUIPMENT: TV, a DVD player, VCR player, a radio/CD/tape player and two individual DVD viewers - one for the Children's Room and one for the Adults' Room.
AFRICAN COLLECTION: Fabulous art and photograph books, current history and politics
CARIBBEAN COLLECTION: In Von Scholten and Adult reference sections. Reference materials not to be checked out of the Libraries.
CHILDREN'S ROOM: New chairs (3)
DICTIONARIES FOR CHILDREN: Fourteen different and wonderful dictionaries for all ages, even illustrated for very young children. Also, thesaurus, grammar, spelling, and illustrated encyclopedias.
ILLUSTRATED ATLASES FOR ALL AGES: A set of 15 on hand.
SPANISH LANGUAGE COLLECTION: 70 titles of Classics, Novels, History and Geography of America, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic.
YOUNG ADULT BOOKS: Many of the titles are the ones required by teachers for summer reading; lots of Classics, too!
YOUNG ADULT CAREER BOOKS: A variety of professions to be explored! |
