Div. of Libraries, Archives & Museums launches new website
| The Division of Libraries, Archives and Museums (DLAM) has launched a newly designed and upgraded web site. The new site, www.virginislandspubliclibraries.org, accessible through www.library.gov.vi brings volumes of information in a user friendly manner, designed specifically for libraries.
The new site features: library hours, contact numbers, a calendar of events, Kids' zone, Teens/Young Adults and Seniors' pages. Biblioteca en Español is an area with tons of information for the Hispanic community. For researchers, links to other government divisions, |

The site design focuses on technologies that enable communication and interactivity and simplify access to resources and services so that using the website for research is less complicated.
Features of the new site:
- Clear, concise and logical navigation for libraries
- Simple, elegant design with a cultural flair
- Greater accessibility to online resources
- News and Calendar sections on homepage that highlight what's going on at each library; pictures showcasing many aspects of the libraries, including the St. Thomas and St. Croix Bookmobiles.
The Division of Libraries, Archives and Museums (DLAM) provides information, resources, and programs to support the educational, cultural, informational and recreational needs of its diverse community.
