Have you been to your library lately???
There are libraries in our public, private and parochial schools, our University of the Virgin Islands campuses, and also maintained by our own Department of Planning and Natural Resources Division of Libraries & Archives. We also have a Caribbean Genealogy Library here on St. Thomas!
The Enid M. Baa Public Library is currently the main library on the island of St. Thomas. It is a beautiful historical building located on the north side of Main Street one block east of the Rothschild Francis “Market” Square. There is a pass way in the center of the building, under the sign, that leads into a lovely courtyard with welcoming stairs to the adult Libraries and archives. The Children’s room is off the street level to the right of the Libraries and archives. Call (340) 774-0630 for information.
At this time our programs hosted by the Baa Library staff and the Friends of the St. Thomas Public Libraries are on hiatus due to ongoing attention to the upcoming St. Thomas Regional Library in Tutu. The items listed below will need your help once our libraries are on schedule!
